CBD (short for cannabidiol) is a naturally occurring, non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in the hemp plant. However, CBD isn’t the only hemp-derived compound worth noting. Several secondary cannabinoids and flavorful terpenes work in synergy alongside CBD in our full-spectrum hemp products.

The difference between broad spectrum, full spectrum, and CBD isolate is simply the
cannabinoid composition found in each of the products.

Full spectrum CBD products contain CBD, the minor cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, etc.), and
THC (usually less than 0.3% THC, but can be psychoactive)

Broad spectrum CBD contains all cannabinoids and plant compounds other than THC (making these products completely non-psychoactive)

CBD isolate only contains 99.9% CBD and is often found in crystal or powder form

CBD oil is a liquid cannabis extract containing high concentrations of cannabidiol.
Manufacturers extract CBD, often alongside other cannabinoids and phytonutrients, then purify these compounds, and subsequently distribute them to cannabinoid formulators and retailers.

CBD oil can vary in its concentration of cannabidiol. Some oils contain pure CBD in extremely
high concentrations, while others are low strength and contain other cannabinoids. Thoroughly read the label, and check lab reports to know exactly what’s in your CBD product.

Pets are mammals just like humans, and thus most standard pets (dogs, cats, etc.) have an
endocannabinoid system (ECS), and react very similarly to CBD as humans. As long as the CBD
product you are giving to your pet is free of intoxicating cannabinoids such as THC and its
related analogs (THC-O, THCV, THCa, etc.) and artificial sweeteners which are dangerous
especially for dogs, CBD is considered safe for pets.

At its most basic level, CBD works by influencing the endocannabinoid system (ECS). This
refers to a network of receptors found throughout the body; the primary receptors, CB1 and CB2, are found in the central nervous system and immune system, respectively. The body creates molecules called endocannabinoids, which bind to these receptors to trigger various
physiological functions. In this way, the ECS maintains homeostasis and ensures that the body
continues functioning at an optimal level. When the endocannabinoids have done their job, the body creates enzymes to destroy them.

When you ingest CBD, it may inhibit the enzymes that get rid of the endocannabinoids. As a
result, there are more endocannabinoids in the system to carry out various functions. This
mechanism may ensure that the individual stays healthy. There have been some suggestions that CBD could have specific benefits, though most users employ it as a general wellness product.

The endocannabinoid system (ECS) can be thought of as a regulation system in the
body. Its primary functions are to balance many critical processes in the body including immune response, communication between cells, appetite/metabolism, neural signaling, pain response, and many others. Studies have shown this network of cells, signaling molecules, and enzymes can be influenced by cannabinoids and, and that they may help regulate the ECS more efficiently.

CBD does take time to build up in your system, so whether you start out with the correct CBD regimen or you need to experiment with different dosages/products, this is not wasted time! Welove seeing positive benefits in the first couple of days, but often see the best results after two to three weeks of consistent, daily use.

Simply put, the primary difference between CBD and THC is that THC is intoxicating and thus responsible for the “high” that users of marijuana report. On the other hand, CBD is completely non-intoxicating, and does not make you high. While small amounts of THC may improve the health benefits of CBD, there is always an associated risk of intoxicating effects when consuming a product with any THC in it.

No. CBD is non-intoxicating. You may have seen claims that it is non-psychoactive, but this isn’t technically true. Since it can influence the brain in some way, by allowing endocannabinoids to do their thing, it can have an impact on your mental state (hopefully for the better without making you feel ‘high’). As a result, it is technically ‘psychoactive.’ However, it is not intoxicating because it does not cause a high.

No. CBD is a non-intoxicating substance that employers are not looking for in a drugs screening.

In general, drug screens check for things like THC metabolites, which are the resulting compounds left over from the body processing THC. Since CBD is not a recreational substance used to get high, drug tests do not check for CBD metabolites.

It is estimated that individuals who consume 6mg of THC per day have a 25% chance of failing a drugs test. When consuming a CBD product with less than 0.3% THC, you would have to take 2000mg of CBD each day to hit this level.
There may be a risk of failing if you use a low-quality product that contains more THC than it should. This is why lab reports are essential.

extraction is considered the safest, most effective extraction method. It uses recyclable carbon dioxide, heated, and pressurized to act as a solvent, to strip the cannabinoids from the plant matter. Unlike other solvents, CO2 is perfectly safe for human consumption, and therefore it cannot lead to contaminants in the final product.

The shelf life of CBD depends on its form. For example, most water-soluble CBD products are a nanoemulsion that, if kept sealed and refrigerated, should remain stable for upwards of 12
months. Traditional CBD oils, gummies, and topicals are usually safe for upwards of 18-24 months.

Taking CBD depends on the product you are using. Sublingual CBD tinctures are the most
typical form of CBD. To take them, place the recommended dose under the tongue and hold for about 5 minutes before swallowing. For other products, read the label to see best how to use it – most CBD products are very straightforward
